Today was the last day of our exploratory maths rotations... Whānau 22 were developing their thinking around shapes and how if we believe in ourselves, and keep trying, we can be successful (and our math brains will grow)!
Groups of four were challenged to build a perfect rectangle, a square and a star with a piece of string. All the groups have done so well with this over the last few weeks and today, one group succeeded in building the most difficult shape: a star. Well done to this fantastic group of girls and to all our students who have been learning to think deeply, persevere, and believe in themselves in maths!
