Check out Slide 2 below for Rataka o te Wiki: What's on this Week...
Some things to remember this week:
- We are introducing a new mathematics game as part of our programme. It is called Prodigy and is a fantastic, free, online resource for engaging students in maths through an interactive journey. Mr Mildenhall emailed all students with the links to get this set up today so students just need to check their school emails to do this. There is an app available for this, though the game can be accessed through Safari or Chrome.
- We still have a few students who have not yet signed up for See Saw. This is a really useful platform for sharing learning with home. Those students who do not yet have it, need to download the free app as soon as possible: Seesaw Class (Learning Journal), sign in using their google account and enter this code: DKUF PYIX.
- Tomorrow we have swimming at Ashhurst. Please make sure children have their togs, towel and goggles, if needed (Make sure all of these are named and in a bag).
- Tomorrow morning is also our library day.
- Homework went home on Friday (this will normally be on Tuesdays but we wanted more time to prepare the students for this week). This week's homework will be due on Tuesday 27th. The creative project is due on Tuesday in week 6 (This is OPTIONAL).
- We have our optional lunchtime swim on Wednesday again this week.
- There is no assembly this week. Pono Pod's assembly will now be in week 10.
- Also, for our Year 5 School Council members, don't forget there is a trip on Thursday with Mr Hobbs and Mrs Mayston.
