Week 2 - Term 1: What's happening this week...

Some things to remember:

• We have an optional lunchtime swim on Wednesday this week.
• Don't forget to sign up for See Saw if you haven't already.  You need to ensure your child has signed up first using their Whakarongo student email account.  Students will not appear on the class list for See Saw until they have signed up.  Once they're all done, then parents can sign up.  If you have any questions, please see your child's homeroom teacher.
• This Friday is our first school assembly, hosted by the Navigator Centre.
• We still have a few children without school hats.  These need to be organised by the end of this week please - just pop into the school office: Year 5 students can purchase the school caps.  Year 4 students wear the bucket hats still.
• A reminder that all school clothing, including hats, shoes and swimming gear, should be named.  This is especially important at this time of year with swimming.
• Our lunchtime clubs are starting up this week.  There is a different club each day that all students can participate in if they wish:
• Monday - Graphic Design (Ms Matangi)
• Tuesday - Robotics (Mr Mildenhall)
• Wednesday - Literary Quiz (Mrs Thompson)
• Thursday - IT Techie Training (Mrs Hornell)
• Friday - Garden Club (Mrs Mayston & Mrs Cobham)
