Rataka o te Wa: What's on for Week 5...

Check out Slide 3 below for Rataka o te Wiki: Week 5, Term 2

Kia ora parents and whānau,
  • Please remember that students need to have their bikes and bike helmets each day this week.  Bikes can be left at school and will be stored either next to homeroom 21 in the foyer area or just inside the atrium by homeroom 22 overnight.  Bikes will be in the bike stands during the day.
  • This week we are holding a cycle and road safety skills meeting, run by Sport Manawatu, on Wednesday at 6.30pm.  Please let Ana know if you want to attend.
  • This week, on Thursday, each homeroom (weather permitting) is having their road rides for cycle safety.  We still require more parent help for homeroom 22... please contact Andrew or Ana asap if you can help!
    • Homeroom 13 - 9am
    • Homeroom 21 - 11.30am
    • Homeroom 22 - 1.30pm
  • Also this Thursday, as part of FOOD FUELS YOUR BODY, we are creating our own healthy meals... if you wish to come along and assist, we would love your help so please let us know if you can support us.  Cooking and creating begins at these approximate times:
    • Homeroom 21 - 9am
    • Homeroom 22 - 10.00am
    • Homeroom 13 - 11.30 am
  • Don't forget to remind your child to make sure their devices are fully charged at the start of the day and to bring their device chargers every day please.
  • It may be a good idea to bring a change of clothes to wear especially for fitness each day and for those kids wanting to play games on the field which is still very muddy.
  • This Friday is a Teacher Only day.  We hope you all enjoy the long weekend!
Nga mihi,
