Rataka o te Wiki - What's on this week: Week 6

Check out Slide 3 below for Rataka o te Wiki: What's on this Week...

This week is a busy week with separate swimming sports for our Year 4 and 5 students.  Some things to remember this week:

  • Tomorrow we have swimming at Ashhurst.  Please make sure children have their togs, towel and goggles, if needed (Make sure all of these are named and in a bag).
  • Tomorrow morning is our library day.
  • Homework is due back tomorrow.  Don't forget to come with your homework books.  Please note the optional creative task is due back on Tuesday 13 March.
  • YEAR 4 SWIMMING SPORTS: This is at Makino Pool from 9.30 - 11.30am (approximately).  Students should have togs on already with their school clothes over the top... they may wear their house t-shirts.  They should have their school hats and school shoes as well  - their school jersey or jacket is recommended in case they get cold between events.  Please make sure they have sunscreen on.  All students will leave from school at 9am and travel by bus so please make sure students are at school before 9am.  Mr Mildenhall will be accompanying our Year 4 students to this.
  • YEAR 5 SWIMMING SPORTS: All students should be dressed in school uniform.  All students should have their hats, sunscreen on and school shoes - their school jersey or jacket is recommended in case they get cold between events.   You can find out where students are entered - non-competitive or competitive.
    • COMPETITIVE SWIMMING SPORTS - FOR ALL STUDENTS WHO HAVE CHOSEN TO ENTER COMPETITIVE EVENTS:  Students will be at Makino Pool from 9am - 12pm (approximately).  Students should also bring a packed lunch and water bottle.  Students will leave at 9am from school so please ensure they are at school by 8.45am.  Ms Matangi will be accompanying our Year 5 students in competitive events to this.
    • NON-COMPETITIVE SWIMMING SPORTS - FOR ALL OTHER YEAR 5 STUDENTS: Students will be at Makino Pool 12.30pm to 2.30pm (approximately).  Mr Mildenhall and Mrs Marshall will be accompanying our Year 5 students participating in this.
  • It is our turn to host assembly this week.  See you there: Friday 9 March - 2.15pm.
